Lavasoft Reghance is a registry tuning tool for Windows. The application has ceased to exist and now is called Lavasoft Registry Tuner. It still is the same, though. What this application does is pretty simple. It prevents your system from failing unnecessarily by repairing errors in the Windows Registry. Lavasoft Registry Tuner will identify common problems that cause performance errors and get rid of them. The tuner can also do it automatically, by means of the scheduler or you can do it manually. The application has a nice 1 click optimization feature, which will scan the entirety of your registry, pinpoint error-causing entries and fix them with your system's performance at heart. Maybe you are afraid of having an application toy with your registry and your fears are well founded. But worry not; Lavasoft Registry Tuner comes bundled with a backup and restore center which allows you to undo any changes that the application has done. There is a nice list with all the changes made from which you can restore any of them. |
